The Village of Avon is pleased to announce a COMMUNITY MEETING to discuss our approach to ensuring safe, affordable housing for all residents in our community. Please join us for this community discussion to be held at 6 p.m. on July 20th at Village Hall, 74 Genesee St.

This meeting will include a presentation and Q&A session on all matters related to safe, secure, and fair housing, including:

• Ensuring safe, affordable housing for individuals who have the greatest chance to be affected by housing shortages - communities of color, people suffering from disabilities, survivors of domestic violence, and other segments of our community facing housing challenges;

• Strategies for addressing and preventing segregation arising from race, ethnicity, the presence of disability, and socio-economic status in access to housing and resources.
