Refuse Collection
There is no Village regulated refuse collection. Village residents must individually contract with their own refuse hauler.

Brush pickup takes place Mondays mid-April–mid-October, workload dependent.
Brush should be parallel with the road between the curb and sidewalk, not in the road. This causes drainage issues.
Brush should be no larger than 6” in diameter and 6’ in length.
Grass clippings shall be placed in biodegradable bags.
Brush should be in manageable piles, not intertwined with each pile.

Leaf pickup begins mid-October, at which time brush pickup ends. Leaf pickup continues through mid-December.
Leaves should be placed at the curb and sidewalk. DO NOT PUT LEAVES IN THE ROAD. This causes drainage issues. Thank you!

LEND-A-TRAILER PROGRAM- The Village offers a trailer for use of brush pick up! We will drop off the trailer after 3:30pm and pick it up about 7:15am the following day. If the trailer is used on the weekends, we will drop it off Friday at 11:45am and pick up on Monday about 7:15am. Please contact DPW Supt. Ken Farrell at 585-303-7065 to schedule!
