Free paint recycling collection will be conducted on Saturday, May 17th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Genesee County Highway Dept. It’s open to residents and businesses from Genesee, Livingston and Wyoming counties. This event helps keep hazardous materials out of the waste stream and supports safer, cleaner communities across the region.

Eligible materials will include latex and oil-based paints; stains and shellacs; lacquers, sealers and varnishes; and urethanes and textured coatings. Check www.greenscheenpaint.com for a full list. Materials must be in containers of 5 gallons or smaller with the original label.
